The MARBLE/marble Symposium consists of three sessions, always on the same dates, each summer:
1st Session JULY 2 – 9  •  2nd Session JULY 15 – 22  •  3rd Session JULY 29 – AUG 5

Participants of MARBLE/marble enjoy

  • A complimentary MARBLE/marble T-shirt; Long-sleeve shirts, hats and other accessories available for purchase
  • A block of Colorado Yule Marble to carve (approximately 3 cubic feet. Larger blocks available for purchase)
  • Free, unlimited use of power tools, air hammers and chisels
  • Carving site equipped with stand, air lines, electricity and fresh mountain breezes!
  • Professional Instructors to guide you in selecting and using tools, developing your skills and creating your vision
  • A tireless crew of strong guys to help you set up and move your sculpture
  • Professional tool guys to help you select and set up tools
  • Safety equipment and abrasives available for purchase
  • Daily classes, workshops and demos
  • Guest instructors offering lectures and demos
  • A place to create sculpture in a non-competitive, culturally diverse atmosphere of camaraderie and sharing
  • A wrap-up celebration dinner at the end of each session featuring live music and dancing under the stars
